Christmas Outreach Opportunities

As a church, we want to share the love of Jesus this Christmas by coming together to serve and give toward these needs in our community:

Gifts for Students at Beckenham Te Kura o Pūroto
Due to the incredible generosity of The Well community, all of the gifts for children at Beckenham Te Kura o Pūroto have been purchased. Please drop off any gifts you have purchased at The Well Church by Sun 14 December.

Te Mapua Kids Camp
We’d love to bless the Te Mapua Kids Camp running from Mon 29 December, to Sat 03 January, in a few different ways. We’re recruiting a team to serve in the kitchen, including an individual or couple to lead this team, and caregivers to stay with the kids at camp or to help out on day/night shifts. We’re collecting towels in new or good used condition to gift to Te Mapua, and we’ll be giving a monetary donation to help cover costs, which we’re inviting you to contribute towards. Head to the link below for all the details and to sign up for a voluntary role.

If you’re unable to serve or give, we’d love to encourage you to contend in prayer for those sharing the gospel and the love of Jesus with His precious children this summer!

Church Multiplication Conversation

7pm, Wed 10 December, The Well Church

We believe God has called The Well Church to pursue a church multiplication vision. One expression of this vision is to equip, send, and resource new Wesleyan church plants… but there’s more to it than that.

You’re invited to join Ps Clint and our Leadership Team in discussing what we sense God calling us to, where we’re up to currently, and what will be involved in pursuing this vision in the coming months and years. This will be a participatory and interactive time of sharing, processing, responding, and praying together. All welcome!

Christmas Eve Gatherings

4pm & 6pm, Wed 24 December, The Well Church

Join us on Christmas Eve for a special carols service! We'll join in with our Christmas Choir in singing carols, hear a short message and readings, and light the Advent candles. This is the perfect opportunity to bring along family and friends who don't usually come to church!

Summer Sabbath

No gatherings on Sun 28 December & Sun 04 January

This summer, we invite you to join our leaders in practising a Summer Sabbath. After giving 2025 the best go we could, the year is winding down and will soon reach the end, when we will stop. We rest, we delight, and we worship. We sabbath. We take it all in. We have worked, we have strained, we have practised and tried - and now, we stop and receive the gift of Christ and His rest for us.

Our last Sunday gathering for the year will be on 21 December, and we will resume in 2026 on 11 January.
